Special Series: Taking on bigger and bigger challenges!
At Échappe-Toi, we take the game of escape to another level, with a unique and immersive experience based on the history of Montreal.
Prestigious institutions contact us regularly and offer us the challenge of creating a giant immersive adventure in their place.
You may have already solved Archibald Marchemieux's secret at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts? Or freed the ghost of the cursed governor at Pointe-à-Callière on Halloween night 2019? Or found the lost jewel of the Forgotten City in Montreal's underground city?
Don't hesitate to visit the Groupe Échappe-toi website here, where you can discover all the specials we've created, including those in France: in a train station and even in a basilica! Other adventures are in preparation!
And if you're interested in creating a project with us, visit The Grand Escape website.

A specific creation process for our escape games
At Échappe-Toi, the creation of scenarios follows a process very close to the world of video games.
It includes writing the story (based on local historical or cultural facts), thinking about the sets, designing the game (a set of riddles and various activities) and interacting with the actors.
All the devices (puzzles, furniture with special elements, miscellaneous devices) are designed and prototyped at Echappe-Toi. Industrial design techniques are applied.
The devices are then produced at Echappe-Toi or by specialized local artisans (wood, metal, plastic and composite materials, electronics and programming).
Sound effects and costumes are also created specifically for Échappe-Toi by local artists or employees.
A team specially dedicated to this mission takes care of the maintenance of the puzzles in order to preserve a maximum quality of experience.
