Discovery of a forgotten city!

Thousands of Montrealers walk every day for miles through what they associate with simple, dark and lifeless corridors. They seem unaware that they are actually in the heart of a city that has become utopia: the underground city. Designed in the 1960s, each corridor was to be an artery and bear a street name!

The biggest immersive adventure in the world!

On the occasion of and in collaboration with the Art Souterrain 2020 festival, The Grand Escape has created the greatest immersive adventure to date with The Forgotten City in the Jacques Parizeau Building/World Trade Centre! A giant escape game for a unique experience!! Echoing the festival's theme of the year: RESET, The Grand Escape offered players a "Journey to the Center of the Earth" to bring back to life the Forgotten City.

From February 29 to March 8, 2020, The Grand Escape and Art Souterrain offered an extraordinary experience: 80 professional actors and ambassadors awaited the players in this new escape game! An extraordinary opportunity to (re)discover Montreal and its History while having fun and to take an interest in the Art Souterrain Festival, dedicated to the visual arts and the revitalization of public space through the arts.

An extraordinary discovery!

The company in charge of building the tunnel under the city made an amazing discovery: the earth is hollow. The exploration team is formal: underground, we find signs of an advanced civilization. This discovery overturns all known theories. You embark on an exciting race to find the jewel that kept this civilization in balance. But beware, not everyone has an interest in uncovering the truth!

This game was for everyone, from 8 years old. From 2 to 6 players. An adult is mandatory if the other players were under 15 years old.
